Almond oil is a plant oil obtained by cold pressing sweet almonds, with a light texture and a natural aroma. Its smooth glide and silky feel make it one of the staple oils in personal care. Its natural character adapts easily to many care rituals and it blends readily with other plant oils.

How to use
- Take a few drops onto cleansed, slightly damp skin.
- Warm it in your palms and spread it over the face and neck.
- In your night routine, use it under your cream or mixed into it.
- If you are adding an essential oil, at most 2 drops per 10 ml of oil.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure sweet almond oil (Prunus dulcis), cold pressed.
It is unrefined, with no additives or preservatives. Its pale yellow colour and light seedy scent are natural.
Scent and feel
Almost unscented, lightly sweet and seedy. Medium-weight texture that leaves slip on the skin without forming a film.
It absorbs at a medium pace and keeps its slip through a long massage.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: face and body care, hair care, and as a carrier oil in aromatherapy blends.
Caution: it is for cosmetic purposes and is not to be eaten. Avoid contact with the eyes. Before first use, apply a drop to the inside of your arm and wait twenty-four hours. Do not use on open wounds or irritated skin.

- Can it be used on the face?
- It is used on dry and normal skin. On oily and acne-prone skin, grape seed or jojoba stay lighter.
- Can it be used for baby massage?
- It is traditionally preferred, but consult your doctor because of the risk of hazelnut and almond allergy.
- How is it stored and how long does it keep?
- Cool, dark and tightly closed. Fixed oils oxidise in light and heat, so use within six months to a year of opening. If it smells sour, do not use it.
