About the product
Wheat germ oil is a plant oil obtained by cold pressing wheat grains, with a soft texture and a natural aroma. With its light colour and fluid structure it is one of the supporting oils often chosen in personal care formulations and natural blends.
Its smooth glide makes it comfortable to use and it blends harmoniously with other plant oils. Its natural character is a pleasant option for anyone who wants a botanical touch in simple care routines.
Wheat germ oil, which can be used on its own or in plant blends, makes a light and elegant contribution to natural care rituals.
How to use
- Add it at five to ten per cent of the total volume of the blend.
- If you are using it on its own, take only a very small amount.
- In your night routine, apply it as a spot treatment on dry areas.
- Store in the fridge.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure wheat germ oil (Triticum vulgare), cold pressed.
It is unrefined. Its vitamin E content is high, and added in small amounts to blends it extends their shelf life.
Scent and feel
A clear grainy, intense scent. The texture is among the heaviest in the range, dark and almost sticky.
It is not used on its own but at five to ten per cent in a blend.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: face and body care, hair care, and as a carrier oil in aromatherapy blends.

Do not use on open wounds or irritated skin. Anyone sensitive to wheat and gluten should also take care when using it on the skin.
