How to use
- Add 3 to 5 drops to 100 ml of water in a diffuser.
- For a steam bath, add 2 drops to hot water and cover your head with a towel.
- If you are applying it to the skin, mix at most 2 drops into 10 ml of carrier oil.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure peppermint essential oil (Mentha piperita), obtained by steam distillation from the leaves.
Its menthol content is high and it is undiluted.
Scent and feel
Sharp, ice-cold menthol with a green leafiness on top. Not the smell of sugary mints, but the firm, clean scent of the real plant.
Highly volatile, a top note. It spreads quickly and fades quickly.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: freshness in a diffuser, temple and nape massage when diluted, steam baths.
Caution: it is a pure essential oil and is not applied directly to the skin. Because of its high menthol content it is not for children under six or for babies, as it may suppress the breathing reflex. Consult your doctor during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Avoid contact with the eyes.

- How is it used for a headache?
- Mix two drops into 10 ml of carrier oil and massage gently into the temples and the nape of the neck. Keep it away from the eye area.
- Can it be used on children?
- Not to be used under the age of six. Menthol can suppress the breathing reflex in small children.
- How many drops for a steam bath?
- Two drops in hot water is enough. More will sting the eyes and nose.
