About the product
Helichrysum essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of Helichrysum italicum and stands out with its aromatic character. Its distinctive warm, slightly herbaceous, honey-like scent offers a special botanical aroma favoured in aromatherapy and personal care. It can be used in cosmetic formulations, room scents, natural perfumery and aromatic oil blends, giving products a characteristic botanical essence. Depending on the production method, the growing region and the harvest time, its colour may range from pale yellow to golden tones, and the aroma may be lighter or more pronounced. Being an essential oil, it is generally used diluted with carrier oils and blends well with other plant oils to develop its aromatic profile. How to use
- Add 3 to 5 drops to 100 ml of water in a diffuser.
- If you are applying it to the skin, mix at most 2 drops into 10 ml of carrier oil.
- A single drop on a tissue is enough to scent a room.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure immortelle essential oil (Helichrysum italicum), obtained by steam distillation from the flowers.
A very large quantity of flowers is processed for one kilo of oil, which is why it costs what it does. It is undiluted.
Scent and feel
Honey and dry herbs, with a hint of tea leaf behind. Sweet but not heavy, leaving a warm, resinous base.
Medium volatility, a heart note. Even a single drop is noticeable in a blend.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: fragrance in a diffuser, massage diluted with a carrier oil, homemade care blends.
Caution: it is a pure essential oil, not to be applied directly to the skin or taken by mouth. Avoid contact with the eyes. Consult your doctor during pregnancy, while breastfeeding and under the age of six. Keep out of the reach of children.

- Immortelle flowers give a very low oil yield. The quantity of flowers processed for one bottle is many times that of other oils.
- How is it used in skin care?
- Mix two drops into 10 ml of jojoba or rosehip oil and use it in your night routine. It is not applied on its own.
- How long does it keep?
- Two years after opening when stored cool, dark and tightly closed. For citrus oils that period drops to one year.
