About the product
An essential oil obtained by distillation from Cymbopogon martinii, which grows in India and the surrounding region. Imported. 100% pure, no additives. It complies with Turkish standards and the European Pharmacopoeia. Sold in light-proof pharmacy bottles with a glass dropper.
How to use
- Add 3 to 5 drops to 100 ml of water in a diffuser.
- If you are applying it to the skin, mix at most 2 drops into 10 ml of carrier oil.
- A single drop on a tissue is enough to scent a room.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure palmarosa essential oil (Cymbopogon martinii), obtained by steam distillation from the grass.
It is rich in geraniol and undiluted.
Scent and feel
Between rose and lemon verbena, a sweet floral opening with a green herbal base behind it. Lighter and fresher than real rose.
Medium volatility. Frequently used in skin care blends.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: fragrance in a diffuser, massage diluted with a carrier oil, homemade care blends.
Caution: it is a pure essential oil, not to be applied directly to the skin or taken by mouth. Avoid contact with the eyes. Consult your doctor during pregnancy, while breastfeeding and under the age of six. Keep out of the reach of children.

- Can it be used instead of rose oil?
- The scent family is similar but not the same. Palmarosa opens fresher and more herbal and lacks the depth of rose oil. The price difference is very large.
- How is it used in skin care?
- It is used in the night routine, mixed at two drops per 10 ml of jojoba oil.
- How long does it keep?
- Two years after opening when stored cool, dark and tightly closed. For citrus oils that period drops to one year.
