About the product
An essential oil obtained by distillation from the cedar tree, botanical name Cedrus atlantica. Imported. 100% pure, no additives. It complies with Turkish standards and the European Pharmacopoeia. Sold in light-proof pharmacy bottles with a glass dropper.
How to use
- Add 3 to 5 drops to 100 ml of water in a diffuser.
- If you are applying it to the skin, mix at most 2 drops into 10 ml of carrier oil.
- A single drop on a tissue is enough to scent a room.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure cedar essential oil (Cedrus), obtained by steam distillation from the wood of the tree.
It is undiluted.
Scent and feel
Dry, clean wood reminiscent of pencil shavings, with a light resinous sweetness behind. Not heavy, but a clear woodiness.
Low volatility, a base note. It acts as a fixative in blends.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: calming blends in a diffuser, scalp care when diluted, scenting wardrobes and drawers.
Caution: it is a pure essential oil and is not applied directly to the skin. Not to be used during pregnancy. Not recommended under the age of six.

- Does it keep moths out of the wardrobe?
- Cedar wood is traditionally used for this. You can put two drops on a cotton pad and place it in the wardrobe; do not let it touch the fabric directly.
- Which oils does it blend with?
- It goes very well with bergamot, lavender and juniper. It is used as a base note in evening blends.
- How long does it keep?
- Two years after opening when stored cool, dark and tightly closed. For citrus oils that period drops to one year.
