About the product
An essential oil obtained from the buds of the Syzygium aromaticum tree. 100% pure, no additives. It complies with Turkish standards and the European Pharmacopoeia. Sold in light-proof pharmacy bottles with a glass dropper.
How to use
- Add 3 to 5 drops to 100 ml of water in a diffuser.
- If you are applying it to the skin, mix at most 2 drops into 10 ml of carrier oil.
- A single drop on a tissue is enough to scent a room.
Ingredients and purity
One hundred per cent pure clove essential oil (Syzygium aromaticum), obtained by steam distillation from the flower buds.
Its eugenol content is high and it is undiluted.
Scent and feel
Warm, sweet, medicinal spice. A highly concentrated version of the clove in the kitchen, with a woody base behind it.
Medium volatility, but its scent is very dominant. A single drop is enough in a blend.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suitable for: a single drop in a diffuser, winter spice blends, targeted use when diluted.
Caution: its eugenol content is high and it may have a burning effect on the skin. Not to be applied directly to the skin; at most one drop per 10 ml of carrier oil. Not to be used during pregnancy, while breastfeeding or under the age of twelve. Anyone taking blood thinners should consult their doctor.

- Can it be used for toothache?
- That is the traditional use, but the pure oil can burn the gums. Toothache is a matter for a dentist; do not treat it yourself.
- Why should only a very little be used?
- Its eugenol content is high and it irritates the skin. Do not exceed one drop in a diffuser or one drop per 10 ml of oil when diluting.
- How long does it keep?
- Two years after opening when stored cool, dark and tightly closed. For citrus oils that period drops to one year.
